Karina has been a lawyer for over 14 years and has a wide breadth of experience. Over the past 5 years, she has spent a considerable amount of time assisting clients in the general corporate, property, energy and natural resources, infrastructure and employment sectors.
Karina is experienced in acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and strategic business alliances, which commonly involve due diligence procedures. She has provided advice and assistance to major clients, including a State Owned Company in a corporate action. She has also dealt with government authorities such as Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal - BKPM) on licenses and approvals.
Property and/or real estate is also a sector which Karina focuses on. She actively advises several well-known developers on land acquisition, construction permit and licenses, agreements with their consumer/buyer and construction agreements (EPC Contract). In 2012, she advised on a swap of land located in Bali, Indonesia.
Karina also assists clients in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sector including drilling contracts, assignment of working interest and/or participating interest and compliances. Prior to joining DNFP, she was advising clients on the preparation of a Public Private Partnership project for an airport/ port system, and toll road.
